1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using LifeTask, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. LifeTask is provided by the LifeTask team (“LifeTask,” “we,” and “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to dragos@trylifetask.com.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 to use LifeTask. If you are below the age at which you can legally agree to online-service terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you.
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.
3. What LifeTask provides
LifeTask offers guided reflection, personalized profiles and maps, AI-generated courses and sessions, progress tools, reminders, and related educational features. Some features, models, quotas, free access, and content availability may change as the service develops.
LifeTask may generate sessions asynchronously. Network, provider, device, or service conditions can delay or interrupt generation, and we do not guarantee that every generation will complete or remain available forever.
4. Your content and AI-generated material
You retain the rights you have in the prompts, reflections, feedback, and other content you submit. You give LifeTask a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, personalize, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for having the right to submit your content and for reviewing generated material before relying on it. Rights in AI-generated material can vary by law and circumstance; LifeTask does not promise that an output is unique, protectable, or free from third-party rights.
5. Important AI and professional-advice notice
LifeTask uses automated systems. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Independently assess important information and decisions.
LifeTask is for general education and self-reflection. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, employment, or other professional advice, and it is not an emergency service. Seek a qualified professional when you need expert advice or urgent help.
6. Subscriptions, renewal, and refunds
- Paid plans may be offered monthly or yearly and automatically renew unless you cancel through the platform that processed the purchase before its renewal deadline.
- The price, billing period, trial or offer terms, and taxes shown by Apple, Google, Stripe, or the applicable checkout provider at purchase govern that transaction.
- You can restore eligible store purchases from LifeTask. Refunds, cancellations, billing disputes, and price changes are handled under the applicable platform rules and mandatory law.
- Deleting LifeTask or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. An actively renewing subscription must be canceled before the LifeTask account can be deleted.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use LifeTask unlawfully, to harm others, or to create or distribute abusive, deceptive, infringing, or malicious material.
- Probe, bypass, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with security, access controls, quotas, billing, or service operation, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Use automated means to scrape the service, resell access, impersonate another person, or access another user’s account or information.
- Submit content you do not have the right to use or attempt to make LifeTask produce content that violates law or another person’s rights.
8. LifeTask property
LifeTask and its software, design, branding, interfaces, and service content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these Terms.
9. Availability, changes, and suspension
We may maintain, update, limit, or discontinue features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, fraud, security, legal requirements, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical and required, we will provide notice.
10. Account deletion and termination
You may stop using LifeTask at any time. To delete your account, first cancel any actively renewing subscription, wait for the updated status to reach LifeTask, and then use Account settings. Account deletion is permanent and most content cannot be recovered.
Sections that by their nature should continue—such as payment obligations, intellectual-property terms, disclaimers, limits of liability, and dispute provisions—survive termination.
11. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeTask is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific outcomes, or the accuracy, completeness, uniqueness, or fitness of generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeTask is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, consumer rights, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Store terms and applicable law
Your use may also be subject to the terms of Apple, Google, or another distribution or payment platform. For apps obtained through Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a different valid agreement is presented in App Store Connect.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally; this does not limit any right to contact a regulator, consumer authority, or court.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as LifeTask changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. Contact dragos@trylifetask.com with questions.
